Let me preface this post with the fact that I took well over 600 pictures on this trip! I'll post a few of my favorites:
Muller's Restaurant-one of Dad & Mom's favorite places to eat. I had my first taste of German cuisine here.
Famous street in Nuremburg-one of the few that wasn't totally destroyed by the bombing during WWII.
Imperial castle in Nuremburg. (If I remember correctly, it is called Kaiserburg.)
View from the castle of Nuremburg.
A bridge over the Pegnitz river...also in Nuremburg.
The Wurzberg residence. The outside is spectacular on it's own, but the inside was absolutely incredible! Unfortunately, the don't allow pictures inside any of the castles so if you want to see pictures, you'll have to come over and look through one of the many books that I bought.
View of Rotenburg de Ober Taubau from the tower.
A view of the wall going around Rotenburg de Ober Taubau.
Just loved the hot air balloon!
Dachau concentration camp.
Nymphemburg Palace-we didn't get a chance to see inside, but the grounds were absolutely amazing!
One of many maypoles that we saw.
Hohenschwangau castle, looking down from Neuschwanstein.
The gate at Neuschwanstein.
The "fairy tale" castle - Nueschwanstein.
It was an amazing trip and so much fun to spend time with mom & dad in such a far away place. We had a lot of laughs, tried some German food and spent a lot of Euros!
